Volunteers are an important part of the Revs Institute and our primary purpose is to support the Institute’s mission. Through our volunteers, the museum strives to interpret the automobile as a technological device, as an agent for social and economic change and as an art object.
Volunteers attend a series of initial training classes and are afforded the opportunity to participate in advanced study programs; all designed to expand their knowledge of the collection. Utilizing this knowledge either as a Station Guide or Docent, they then share each cars’ story in a way that connects with our visitors.
If you share our passion for historically significant automobiles and are able to commit to at least one 3-hour shift per week, please fill out and submit this form for consideration.
Our docents are seasoned volunteers who have undergone a rigorous training program. Interested in becoming a docent?
Our Station Guides are the main point of contact with visitors; setting the stage for their enjoyment and understanding of the Revs Institute and its mission.
