Brian began organizing track weekends in 1991 for owners of historic and modern high performance cars in need of exercise without the risks inherent in racing. Targa 66 members run a diverse group of cars, from open wheel formula single seaters to priceless historics to late model supercars. Held for many years at the now-defunct Palm Beach International Raceway, the February event moved to the Homestead-Miami Speedway in 2023. Spectators, too, come to the Speedway to enjoy the track action: these cars may not be racing, but they are certainly not going slowly.

This year, Revs Institute brought five vehicles from the Miles Collier Collections: the 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia TZ, the 1969 Porsche 908 LH, the 1965 Ferrari 250 LM, the 1970 Porsche 914/6 GT, and the 1962 Austin Mini Seven. Targa 66 represents a prime opportunity to exercise race cars which are not legal to drive on public roads.
