Revs Institute is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to deepening our understanding and appreciation of automotive history. We will use your personal information to support this mission. We also use your personal information to provide you with museum tickets you order and to fulfill orders from Revs Institute Car Museum Gift Shop and the Revs Digital Library.
We also collect analytical information to provide a better website experience for all of our users.
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you give us. You are free to visit our Websites without giving us any of your personal information. Our Service Providers may also collect information on our behalf. For example, the Revs Institute Car Museum Gift Shop at www.revsinstituteshop.org is hosted by an ecommerce service called Shopify. When you make a purchase from this online gift shop, Shopify collects your information and makes it accessible to us for order fulfillment. This collection and processing of information may be further governed by policies, terms and conditions set by Shopify at www.shopify.com.
Our Service Providers may also collect information in the course of a relationship with you independent of Revs. For example, Shopify offers customer facing services, such as Shop, Shop Pay, and Frenzy, etc. Such services are not part of the Websites. Also, commenting features are provided by Disqus (https://disqus.com/) and/or Commento (https://commento.io/). Personal information entered into such commenting features is governed by the privacy policies of each respective feature provider. You should refer to each of the above providers’ Privacy Policies for their respective practices concerning their collection and use of personal information with respect to such services.

We protect the data you send in contact forms (name and e-mail address) by storing it on password-protected computers and by sharing it only with Service Providers who have agreed to use it only as we instruct and within the law.
