Revs Institute Hits the Road for Monterey Car Week
Celebrating Automotive History at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance
Every August, the world’s most passionate automotive enthusiasts gather in California for Monterey Car Week, and Revs Institute is once again honored to be part of the excitement. From historic races at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca to the elegance of Pebble Beach, we’re bringing a carefully curated selection of automobiles that reflect our mission to preserve and share the history of the automobile.
Coast-to-Coast Commitment
Participating in events of this caliber takes months of careful preparation. Our workshop team has been hard at work meticulously prepping each car, ensuring they’re ready to perform and shine. Now, the final step is underway: shipping these irreplaceable vehicles across the country from Naples, Florida to the Monterey Peninsula.
Racing Heritage at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
Revs Institute will proudly field two of our most storied race cars at the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion:
- 1958 Porsche Carrera GT Speedster: Lightweight, powerful, and purpose-built for performance, this Speedster was the final iteration of the four-cam Carrera line.
- 1955 Lancia D50: A true Grand Prix thoroughbred, the D50 features an innovative design and a celebrated racing pedigree, including links to Juan Manuel Fangio and Scuderia Ferrari.
Both cars will be competing on track, continuing to live the legacy they were built for.
In addition to our race entries, two additional icons from the Revs collection will be on heritage display throughout the weekend:
- 1958 Vanwall: A British Formula One champion, known for disrupting Ferrari’s dominance in the late 1950s.
- 1959 Cooper Type 51: A significant step forward in mid-engine design, this Cooper helped shape the future of race car engineering.
